The American-Filipino Kun Tao Federation (AFKTF) is the governing body for American-Filipino Kun Tao (AFKT). The AFKTF is open to all Martial Artists regardless of style, who have an interest in the Filipino Martial Arts. The AFKTF provides the opportunity for studios of other styles to integrate AFKT into its current curriculum, providing for more training options for students. American-Filipino Kun Tao is a registered trademark of Ralph Bergamo, Mel Hebert, and Drew Serrano.
AFKT is an amalgamation of techniques from many different styles, with a core base of Filipino Kun Tao. Some of the styles that have lent to the creation of the current AFKT are Karate, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Savate, Aikido, Western Boxing, Thai Boxing, Escrima, Kali, and Kickboxing.
